Te Kohao Health is primarily funded through contract for services with Waikato District Health Board, the Ministry of Health, ACC, Toiora PHO Coalition and the Ministry of Social Development.  

While the majority of their funding comes from vote health, the social service needs of their clients are inextricably linked.
