Mirimiri is also offered as part of our Cardiac and Stroke Rehabilitation service.
Niagara Therapy Treatment
Electric Recliner Chair (Rongoā Aratoto)
Niagara Therapy is a combination of massage actions built into, adjustable reclining chairs and portable units designed for travel.
Niagara Therapy affects the blood, tissue and lymph systems improving motion, ability to exercise, blood circulation and lymphatic (swelling) problems.
Niagara Therapy also promotes restful sleep which is beneficial to a person’s overall health and well-being.

Whānau must obtain a referral to Ngā Puna Wai Oranga Rongoā Services from their Doctor.
Eligible whānau receive a quote from Ngā Puna Wai Oranga to take to their/our GP for approval.
Referral and quote then goes to Work and Income New Zealand to receive funding for their treatment through disability allowance.
Whānau will be contacted within 7 working days if funding is approved.
An initial assessment is then booked at a convenient time for approval referrals.
Commencement of treatment is subject to availability of the rooms and chambers (due to the number of sessions whānau may require).
