Te Pae Oranga

Iwi Māori Panel

Kia Whakatinanatia ko te ihi, ko te wehi, ko te wana me te
hauoranga o te whānau.

Living our Tino Rangatiratanga through strong, healthy,
vibrant and prosperous whānau

What we provide

An Iwi-based alternative to prosecution for eligible low level offending. We work with the Whānau to understand what action can be taken to redress any dam-age or harm caused by the offending and what support is needed to stop future offending.

Our goals

  • To improve Māori justice outcomes through community engagement and partnerships.
  • To prevent low level offenders from entering the justice system and being convicted of a criminal offence.
  • To provide support to victims of low level offending.
