Taakiri Tuu was established to address the significant health disparities experienced by Māori,

who are more at risk of dying prematurely of cancer, cardiovascular disease and chronic diseases. Early detection and accessible healthcare are vital in improving Māori health inequities.

Taakiri Tuu is a joint venture between Te Kōhao Health and Pacific Radiology (RHCNZ), working alongside Whatu Ora to bring specialist clinics into the community for early diagnosis and prevention.

At Miro ō te Ora, we provide a wide range of health and wellness support for individuals and whānau. Our services include preventive health screenings, immunizations, minor surgical procedures, and ACC injury care. See the list below for our full range of services.

Prices and fees

Fees for these services vary depending on the type of consultation or treatment, and we strive to provide transparent pricing to ensure you have a clear understanding of costs before proceeding.

We require 2 hours notice for cancellations , If whanau do not attend an appointment a fee of $5 will be charged to their account.

Payment of all fees is required on the day of the consultation.

Payment Options

Easily manage your payments through online banking. Use your preferred online banking platform to transfer funds directly to our account. Ensure you include your NHI number as reference for accurate processing. If you need assistance, feel free to contact our team for guidance.

Appointment
- Contact the clinic by phone, online, or in person to schedule an appointment, providing your details and reason for the visit.
Pre-Visit:
- Gather medical records if needed.

At the Clinic:
- Check in at reception, confirm details, and make any payments.
