How it works

Te Kahuhiranga is divided into two delivery modules with the first module to be run in term 3. Every week a Kaiārahi (facilitator) delivers group sessions that are focused on introducing the concepts of Te Pae Mahutonga. These sessions are a mix of activities, guest speakers, visits and trips to events. Rangatahi will also be assigned short homework activities that encourage them to learn about their whānau history, strengths and aspirations. At the end of module one, all streams will attend an overnight noho wānanga that combines their learning and prepares them for module two.
